UPCOMING EVENTS For Therapy Dogs in TDI Chapter #215
Our dogs and handlers will be very busy the next few weeks as they participate in a number of community special events ranging from Reading to Rover to Special Olympics to the Christmas Parade! See the Calendar Page for details.
Pawsitive Connections of Statesboro is Chapter #215 of Therapy Dogs International. Our dogs love to be petted and hugged, and we have dogs in all shapes, colors and sizes ranging from 8 lbs. to 140 lbs.! All dogs have been obedience trained and temperance tested. Each dog has received TDI certification and is covered by the organization's insurance policy during therapy sessions.
Our local chapter of Therapy Dogs is a vibrant and growing organization. Therapy Dogs and their handlers already regularly participate in a number of community activities. These include visits to East Georgia Regional Medical Center, various nursing homes and assisted living facilities, visits to Ogeechee Area Hospice, participating in the Reading to Rover program at the Statesboro Regional Library, and appearances at Special Olympics and special youth camps. |
